On July 4 in Hampshire at the Lainston House Hotel, Mr. Graham Evans and BY INVITATION held an American Independence Day party to benefit the BHI. It was a true July 4th shindig - a cookout with hamburgers, hotdogs, barbequed chicken, cole slaw, potato salad washed down with Bud and Mint Juleps.

A New Orleans Jazz Band serenaded the crowd and, later on in the evening, everyone swung to a Motown-style group.

There was a silent and live auction, including products from Versace, Tommy Hilfiger, Etro, Missoni, Pucci and Playboy. Cross Pens were also on hand to sell their Breast Cancer Awareness Pen which is sold all over Europe to support our cause.

It was an amazing party even though the weather forced us inside, but not before the auction which raised over £10,000.
