Breast Health International has embarked on an on-going global campaign to support those diagnosed with breast cancer through its FUND FOR LIVING program.

This program was developed by the BHI to provide assistance to those going through treatment for breast cancer (chemotherapy & radiation) to cover unique problems that may not be addressed or covered by the usual health insurance programs. The types of problems that this program is designed to cover may include the following: home care, child care, transportation, wigs, bras, etc.

Resources to cover the costs of these special needs will be made available to medical centers and social service facilities, to be dispensed as needed to the patients and families in their individual treatment venues.

Our Fund For Living is up and running throughout selected cities in the United Kingdom. The BHI will continue to expand this program in many other cities within Europe. For a list of the most current hospitals where the Fund is available, please email Susan Schwartz.
